Every trial is automatically configured with several log types, the "Recruitment Report", "Screening/Enrollment", and "Subject ID" logs.
Next to the name of the log, you will also be able to view which patient statuses are included in it.
To set up a custom log for your site, please contact Customer Support.
If you need to download a de-identified version of your logs for your own records, select the "Download Log" button. The default download will not include Personally Identifiable Information unless you specifically indicate you would like to include it.
For trials that are connected to a sponsor, StudyTeam will display a "sponsor requested" log. This log is automatically de-identified and automatically shared with your sponsor.
The blue flag icons represent questions that your sponsor wants you to answer based on a patient's status.
These digital logs cut out the need to send in the logs on a regular basis and can reduce the number of phone calls and emails you get about enrollment, allowing you to spend more time with patients.
There are two ways to answer patient log questions.
For trials that are linked to a sponsor, StudyTeam will automatically bring up the log questions that are relevant for the Status of the patient. For example, if a patient's Status is set to Pre-Screen Failure, StudyTeam will prompt you to answer the question "Why did this patient pre-screen fail?"
At the top right corner of the log you will see a filter which allows you to view only the unanswered questions you have for your patients.
Each sponsor you work with may have a different cadence of how frequently they would expect to see new information in your sponsor-connected log. If they are expecting updates on a bi-weekly basis and you have no new information to report within this two-week period, simply click on the Update Sponsor button. This will automatically let your sponsor know that your site is actively working on the study but has no new updates to report at this time.
The lock in the Full Name column assures you that this column is never shared with your sponsor.
You can click on the magnifying glass icon to search for patients by their name, initials, or unique identifier you used to enter them into StudyTeam.
The Patient Log can be viewed in expanded or in compact mode, based on your preference.
